Meet the First Democratic Party Collaborators of the Next Trump Administration

52 Democratic members of Congress voted Nov. 12th to give Trump unlimited power to shutter any nonprofit organization- their first attempt to crush the Left by collaborating with fascists. It's begun.

H.R.9495, the Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act, was narrowly struck down in a floor vote on Tuesday, where it needed a 2/3rds majority to be fast tracked. This would have given the Treasury Secretary the ability to revoke the tax-exempt status of any 501(c)(3) organization by claiming it supports terrorism, without any evidence or oversight.

Why? These democratic lawmakers intend to help Trump cripple the Left, starting with a wholesale shutdown of Palestinian rights organizations, and extending as far as Trump’s whim. They’re fully willing to let Trump bulldoze the ACLU for suing him if it means also getting rid of Left organizations for questioning genocide.

This bill is not dead. Republicans have announced that they’ll be bringing it back up, and 52 Democratic lawmakers have signaled their intent to pass it - they’ve declared war. Here they are.

What You Need to Do Now

With only a thin Republican majority in the House, bills have a chance to fail if just a handful of Republicans have some sort of inscrutable issue with the bill, or as we’ve seen for the last two years, if they just don’t like their Majority Leader.

However, these types of bills will not fail if a huge cadre of the Democratic Party is willing to vote like these members just voted.

Make no mistake, this list needs to shrink very rapidly in 2026 if we’re to have any hope of making it past January 6th, 2029 with any form of democracy intact. Dem politicians are not your friends, but these people in particular are your enemies. It’s time to build toward primary challenges against every single one of them.
